Timely Warning - Attempted Robbery

East Side of O’Brien Hall
UCPD Case # 17-00260
On Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at approximately 7:57 p.m. an attempted robbery occurred on the east side of O’Brien Hall.  The two unaffiliated male victims were approached by two males.  The male suspects told the victims to give them all their property.  The victims refused and the suspects began to hit the victims.  The suspects left the area on foot southbound.  The victims contacted UCPD via a Blue Light emergency phone.  One of the victims was transported to a local hospital and the other had minor injuries that did not require treatment.  UCPD searched the area but could not locate the suspects.
The suspect(s) was/were described as:
Suspect #1: A White male in his 20’s, 6’01” in height, 190 lbs., with short light brown hair, a short beard, wearing a red plaid sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Suspect #2:  A White male in his 20’s, 6’01” in height, 200 lbs., with short blonde hair, a full beard, wearing a blue plaid long sleeve shirt.

  • Please do not delay in calling law enforcement.  UCPD strongly encourages the reporting of criminal or suspicious activity in a timely manner to assist us in intervening in potential criminal actively and apprehending suspects.
