Full Notification

Earlier this evening police were alerted to a juvenile making threats toward the school he attends via social media. Police identified the juvenile and took him into custody. In consultation with the Morris County Prosecutor's Office, the juvenile was arrested and charged. School officials have been notified of the circumstances. The threats were not directed at Riverdale School students or faculty. For parents peace of mind and an abundance of caution an officer will be posted outside the school on Tuesday Jan. 31.
