EMA asking for the public's help to name our mascot!

The Madison County Emergency Management & Office of Homeland Security is asking for the public's help to name our mascot. This year, EMA is kicking off the "Masters of Disaster" campaign to increase the public's awareness and preparedness for natural, technological and man-made disasters, which could impact Madison County, IN.

The newest member of our team needs a name before he can begin public education, and that is where the public can help. We are asking the public to help us come up with a name for our mascot. Citizens are encouraged to help us come-up with a clever name that everyone will soon become familiar with in our community.

Entries will be accepted between now and February 2, 2017 5:00PM. On February 3, 2017, a winner will be announced and our mascot will have finally a name. The person who submits the winning name will receive a disaster preparedness backpack, similar to the picture attached.
