City crews hauled away 14 loads of debris/filled 120 potholes last weekend. 1 lane Grand Ave. btwn San Berdo & Cypress is closed. 
The City of Covina and Covina Police Department over this past weekend handled numerous calls which were weather related. City crews filled 120 potholes and cleared 14 truck loads of debris from storm drains and fallen trees. Approximately 500 sand bags were distributed to the community along with 24 cubic yards of sand.
As of this afternoon, one lane of Grand Ave. between San Bernardino Rd. and Cypress remain closed as a result of the amount of roadway damage. Drier weather will be necessary for this area to be repaired properly.
City staff will continue to monitor weather conditions and the community.
