LAGUNA BEACH, CA – Park Avenue will be closed between Wendt Terrace and Tahiti at least through Monday morning as a precautionary measure due to falling rocks and mud. No evacuations to the surrounding area are required at this time.
 
This closure will affect morning school drop-offs. Another alert will be communicated if the closure will continue to impact afternoon pick-ups. Below are the suggested alternate routes to access both Top of the World Elementary School and Thurston Middle School:

• For access to Top of the World School use Temple Hills Drive.
• For access to Thurston Middle School use Skyline Drive.

The Police Department will have personnel directing traffic to assist with traffic flow. If you have any questions please contact the Police Department at 949-497-0358.
