“Social media sites can be very hazardous places for minors” commented Sergeant Peter Hahn of the Sheriff’s Human Trafficking Bureau. “Predators are actively seeing juveniles to exploit and victimize, since they believe they are hidden by the anonymous nature of the internet. Parents are reminded to actively monitor the internet activity of their children, to prevent anyone from taking advantage of them.”
