Occupied Home Invasion - 1000 block of Desoto, Ypsilanti Twp. 
Washtenaw Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a home invasion that occurred in the 1000 block of Desoto in Ypsilanti Twp. on Thursday, Jan. 19. The incident occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m., when a male subject made contact with the home owner under the guise of selling her some home repairs. While the suspect distracted the home owner into the backyard, another subject entered the house and stole items.
The suspects fled in a red, full-size Ford pickup truck.
Sheriff's Deputies encourage home owners to be cautious with unsolicited sales approaches, and to call 9-1-1 to report solicitors. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact the Washtenaw Sheriff's Office.
