SUMMARY:
During the past few months, Detectives from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department have been conducting an investigation involving allegations of lewd acts with a child and sodomy. The crimes occurred over a three year period in multiple jurisdictions. On January 18, 2017 at 4:50 p.m., Richard Breed was interviewed, arrested and booked at the Colorado River Station jail on charges of, PC 288(a) Lewd Acts With A Child Under 14 and PC 286(c)(1) Sodomy Under 14 Years Old with a bail of $250,000.00.
This investigation is still ongoing and it is possible more victims exist.
