Knowlton Residents received a letter in the mail last week about this energy cooperative, which Knowlton has entered into with Harmony, Hardwick, Hope, and a number of other towns in Warren and Sussex Counties. The cooperative, which is overseen by the NJ Board of Public Utilities and two other agencies, allows municipalities to pool together the energy usage of their residents to obtain a guaranteed lower energy supply rate than they are currently being charged.

Residents with questions are welcome to contact the township or join us at the Knowlton Municipal Building on Thursday from 2-4 or 5:30-7 when both township and energy company representatives will be present to provide additional information and answer questions.
