Join us for Carson Station's Civilian Academy for the Community 
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will host a Civilian Community Academy for people that live or work in the city of Carson. The academy is an excellent opportunity for the Sheriff's Department to allow people in the community to have a better understanding of the operations of the department. All applicants will be subject to a background check.
Participants will interact with representatives from different agencies and see presentations about:
*Criminal Justice System
*Traffic Control
*Reserve Programs
*Patrol and Detective Functions
*Special Arms and Teams Tactics
*K-9 Units
When: March 1, 2017- May 3, 2017
Every Wednesday 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
between the indicated dates
Graduation held after completion of 10 week class sessions
Applications may be picked up at Carson Sheriff's Station in the Community Relations Office. All applications must be received by Friday, February 22, 2017. Space is limited!
