Patterson, CA - On 01-04-12 at approximately 6:34 p.m., Patterson Police Services deputies and detectives investigated a homicide at Felipe Garza Park in Patterson, CA. The victim was identified as 20 year-old Jesus Gallardo of Patterson. During the investigation detectives identified 30 year-old Victor Valdovinos of Patterson as a suspect. Valdovinos fled to Mexico before detectives could find him.
On 01-10-17 Valdovinos was stopped at the San Ysidro, CA point of entry. When they learned he was wanted he was detained and detectives were notified. Valdovinos was returned to Stanislaus County and booked for homicide. In addition he was also booked for vandalism and assault with a deadly weapon from separate Patterson Police Services investigations.
