01/03/2017 @ 11:10 am. A man was walking on the sidewalk when he was punched in the face without provocation by a male transient. Deputies responded and arrested the suspect. #00046

01/03/2017 @ 5:00 pm - 1:00 pm. The lock to a storage shed was cut and three pieces of luggage were removed. Loss $4K. #00059

01/03/2017 @ 3:30 pm - 6:00 am. The front driver’s side window was smashed and a passport was removed. Loss $400. #00050

01/03/2017 @ 8:00 pm - 8:00 am. A tent, air mattress, folding chair, and sunglasses were taken from the trunk. No sign of forced entry. Loss $600. #00053

01/04/2017 @ 1:19 am. Four men had a dispute over hand bill posting. During the dispute, one of the men used his vehicle and attempted to hit the victim. #00048

01/04/2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:40 am. The suspect used force on the front door to gain access and removed $1K in cash from the cash register. #00077
 
Other Burglary (Suspect Arrested)
600 Block La Cienega Blvd
01/04/2017 @ 2:30 am - 4:30 am. A man entered the store after hours and removed alcohol from a walk in refrigerator. Loss $1500. The suspect was arrested on 01/08/2017 while burglarizing the same location. #00084

01/05/2017 @ 4:15 am. A male transient threw a glass plate at an employee after he was asked to leave the restaurant. S1 was arrested by deputies on 01/07/2017. #00088

01/05/2017 @ 7:50 am - 12:05 pm. Force was used on the front door to gain entry and several pieces of jewelry were taken from the bedroom area. Loss $20K. #00080

01/05/2017 @ 5:05 am. A women was reaching into her car when a man approached her from behind armed with a knife and demanded her purse. The victim complied and the suspect fled the area on foot. Loss $230. #00073

01/05/2017 @ 12:01 am - 7:00 am. The rear driver’s side window was smashed and the interior was ransacked.

01/05/2017 @ 10:30 pm - 12:00 am. The rear passenger’s side window was smashed and two TV screens from the vehicle seats and an air bag were taken. Loss $2200. #00094

Other Burglary (Suspects Arrested)
500 Block N Doheny Drive
01/06/2017 @ 11:00 pm - 11:30 pm. A male and female transient used an unlocked door to gain access to the store. Deputies responded to an alarm call and located both suspects inside the store. Both suspects were arrested. #00111
 
Vehicle Burglary
7100 Block Santa Monica Blvd
01/06/2017 @ 10:45 am - 11:15 am. Unknown suspect(s) smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a laptop computer, gym bag, and backpack from the front seat. Loss $1700. #00093

Strong Arm Robbery (Suspect Arrested)
8200 Block Santa Monica Blvd
01/08/2017 @ 2:03 pm. A man recovered an access card skimmer from a door at the bank. While reporting the incident to police, a male suspect pulled the skimmer from the victims hand and ran from the lobby. The victim was able to detain the suspect until deputies arrived. Suspect was arrested. #00147

01/08/20107 @ 11:00 pm -11:00 am. The rear driver’s side window was smashed and a backpack containing earbuds was taken from the back seat. Loss $585. #00158
