On November 16, 2015, a home invasion robbery occurred in the 1900 blk of Bunker Ave in unincorporated El Monte which is patrolled by LASD/Temple Station.  Detective Juan Rivera was the lead detective, whom with the help of additional detectives and available resources, was able to identify the suspects and present the case to the District Attorney's Office.  Over one year later, on December 19, 2016, a jury in Pomona Superior Court convicted five individuals for numerous felony charges including; kidnapping, false imprisonment, robbery and carjacking.  They are all awaiting sentencing.
