Mandatory Evacuation - Yosemite Valley

This is a mandatory evacuation notice for Yosemite Valley Only.  All non-essential personnel are directed to evacuate the Valley by 1600 hours today.  This decision was made based on high projected water levels and the high likelihood of utility system failures.  NPS personnel and their families must contact Chip Griffin at 372-0814 or John Dill at 372-4637, or [email protected], to communicate your evacuation plan and contact information.  Questions about available Red Cross shelters and evacuation assistance may also be answered at these numbers.

Information about reopening of the Valley will be through park web sites and the park's Rapid Notify program.
