*UPDATE* #LASD, Missing Person Found Safe, 76 Year-Old Jorge Mejia of Palmdale
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detectives have located missing person Jorge Mejia. The 76 year-old had been previously reported missing on Wednesday, January 5, 2017, after he walked away from his residence at approximately 4:30 PM. Mr. Mejia was found safe and unharmed at 9:00 AM this morning at 10th Street West and Rancho Vista Boulevard, Palmdale, and reunited with his family.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department would like to thank the public for all information regarding this incident.

Detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Detail are seeking for the public’s assistance in locating Jorge Mejia. He is a 76 year-old male Hispanic, who was last seen leaving his residence to take a walk from the 2100 block of Millcreek Way, on Wednesday, January 5, 2017 at 4:30 p.m.
Mr. Mejia is described as 5’5”,140lbs, gray hair, facial hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a snake skin hat, dark green flannel shirt, and blue jeans.
The missing person is easily confused and forgetful. His family is very concerned and asking for the public’s assistance.
