The National Weather Service in Hanford CA has issued a
* Flood Warning for... Central Kern County in central California...
* Until 1015 PM PST Thursday
* At 409 PM PST, emergency management officials reported flooding on and near Caliente Creek near Lamont. Rainfall has diminished, however runoff will continue to create flooding in the Caliente Creek drainage for the next several hours. Use caution in flooded areas.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bakersfield, Arvin, Weedpatch, Lamont, Edison and Bear Valley Springs.
* AFFECTED AREAS: KERN
Instructions:
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
