Media Availability – Etiquette Lessons for Kids, If You Please

Woodland Hills.  Local media outlets are invited to observe a professional manners and etiquette seminar presented to twenty local children who are part of LAPD’s Topanga Police Station’s youth services program.

The proprietors of Woodland Hills restaurant, Il Fornaio, have donated their restaurant and food for the experience, and professional etiquette coach Lisa Gache, of Beverly Hills Manners, has donated her time and expertise.  The event will take place at Il Fornaio on January 5, 2017, from 11AM to 2PM.

“We organized this event after we noticed many of our kids appeared shy and ill at ease when dining in public,” explained Officer Nicole Hollick, Youth Service Officer at the Topanga Police Station.  “We hope that by introducing the kids to manners and etiquette, they will feel more confident.  Manners are important, too, for creating good first impressions, which help us all with school, jobs, and life in general.”
