"SECOND UPDATE" I-65 SB 168 MM Down to One Lane Due to Property Damage Crash

"SECOND UPDATE" I-65 SB at the 168 MM will be opened for several hours while traffic clears out from the backup. Later this evening when traffic is not as congested, the right lane will be shut down again to finish cleaning up and removing the rig. Proceed with caution when traveling through the area.

"UPDATE" Tippecanoe County-I-65 is backed up to the 176 MM SB. Request you seek alternate routes of travel if you are SB. You can exit onto US 231 at the 193 MM and follow it SB till you run into US 52. Continue onto US 231/52 until they split. Continue onto US 52 through the south side of Lafayette until you reach Sagamore Parkway/US 52. Continue right onto US 52 and follow it till it rejoins I-65 near Lebanon, IN and continue on I-65 SB.

It is uncertain how long the cleanup will take. It is a semi tanker rig filled with milk.

Tippecanoe County-I-65 SB near the 168 MM (that is just north of the(SR38/168 MM exit) is down to one lane due to a semi property damage crash. The semi is off the right side and will take several hours to unload and upright. Traffic is moving slowly in the left lane. Seek alternate routes of travel. Travel slowly through the area as emergency personnel will be working.
