BOIL ADVISORY ENDS FOR WATER SYSTEM CUSTOMERS IN WELCOME AREA
The Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals – Office of Public Health has lifted the boil advisory for all customers in St. James #2 located along La. Hwy. 18 (River Road) in Welcome from the water tower near Minnie Street and continuing towards the Sunshine Bridge.
The water system alerted affected customers through automated phone calls, the parish website and social media posts. Individuals are encouraged to register for these alerts by visiting the emergency info section on the homepage of the parish website at www.stjamesla.com.
