Homicide Investigators Charge Man With Capital Murder In Missing Woman's Death.

(Harris County, TX) Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators have charged a 32 year old man with capital murder in the death of Amalia Alexander, a local woman reported missing since September 20, 2016.

Investigators say that Jarvis Hickerson (DOB 04/27/1984) and Alexander were in a relationship.

She was last seen with Hickerson, after the two of them left a family members residence on Monday , September 19, 2016.

Family members reported Alexander missing on September 20, 2016 after she failed to report to work that morning.

Hickerson claimed he did not know where Alexander was or how she left the area.

On November 30, 2016 the skeletal remains of a female were found in Montgomery County, Texas.

The Institute Of Forensic Science confirmed the remains as of those of Amalia Alexander.
HCSO Homicide investigators obtained evidence that Hickerson was near the crime scene.

Hickerson has been currently in jail for violating a protective order that was placed on him after a domestic violence altercation with Ms. Alexander earlier this year.
