A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect today at noon. Travel safely and stay warm.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO
6 AM CST SUNDAY...

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE
INTO THIS EVENING. THE SNOW MAY MIX WITH SLEET OR LIGHT FREEZING
RAIN SATURDAY MORNING AND THEN CHANGE BACK TO ALL SNOW SATURDAY
AFTERNOON.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS
EVENING WITH AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES SATURDAY AFTERNOON
INTO SATURDAY NIGHT.

* SNOWFALL RATES...MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW MAY PRODUCE SNOWFALL
RATES AROUND 1 INCH PER HOUR LATE THIS AFTERNOON INTO EARLY THIS
EVENING.

* WINDS...NORTHWEST WINDS GUSTING TO 30 MPH SATURDAY NIGHT WILL
CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED
VISIBILITIES MAKING TRAVEL DANGEROUS...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN AREAS.

* WIND CHILLS...STRONG WINDS AND FALLING TEMPERATURES WILL RESULT
IN WIND CHILL READINGS FROM 15 BELOW TO 25 BELOW ZERO BY LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY MORNING.

* MAIN IMPACT...SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES WILL
RESULT IN TREACHEROUS CONDITIONS AND LONGER COMMUTE TIMES.

* OTHER IMPACTS...TRACE ACCUMULATIONS OF ICE ARE POSSIBLE FROM
FREEZING RAIN OR SLEET SATURDAY.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
