Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department West Hollywood Station advises you to AVOID Santa Monica Blvd. at Laurel Ave. WHD due to a current traffic issue. A vehicle crashed into a light pole on Santa Monica Blvd. east of Laurel Ave. The pole is blocking eastbound lanes and will require a detour of traffic for the next hour. Use Melrose Ave. to the south or Fountain Ave, to the north as alternate routes of travel.
