Water line repair complete - water service restored for residents on St. Charles Court
ORIGINAL MESSAGE:
The City’s contractor working on a sewer project on St. Charles Court hit a Cal Water line while digging to replace a segment of sewer pipe. Cal Water is en route to inspect the water line and has estimated it will take between 6-8 hours for the issue to be resolved.
In the meantime, some residents on St. Charles Court may be without water while the repairs are taking place. Cal Water has yet to determine the extent of damage and whether the water has been contaminated. As a precaution, Cal Water will be delivering water to impacted residents to use until the matter is resolved.
We will provide more information as it becomes available. Thank you for your patience as the necessary agencies work to resolve the issue.

FINAL UPDATE: Cal Water confirmed they have completed the water line repair. Water service has been restored to St. Charles Court.
PREVIOUS UPDATE:
al Water has confirmed the water shut-off is limited to residents on St. Charles Court only. They are working now to clean up the street and repair the water line. Cal Water has informed the City the water is safe to consume and use as usual as soon as the pipe is repaired and water is turned back on. They will conduct regulatory testing to ensure the water's safety, as is standard procedure.
