The Upper Macungie Township Police Department is currently investigating a road rage incident that occurred on Monday, November 28th at appx. 7 am.
According to the complainant, the victim observed a blue older model single cab Chevrolet pick-up truck enter Schantz Rd. from Boulder Drive.
In the area of Rt. 100 and Tilghman Street, the Chevrolet truck pulled alongside the victim and the driver of the Chevrolet pointed a handgun at the victim.
The driver of the blue Chevrolet truck was described as an older, well-groomed male in his 50's, with reddish-blonde hair, chubby face, and wearing glasses. He was wearing a navy blue shirt with "V V" printed on the garment.
The UMTPD is looking to identify the driver of the blue vehicle. The driver may work a night shift warehouse position in Upper Macungie, based on the location and the time of day this incident occurred. However, that is only a possibility, and has not been confirmed.
