Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult that occurred on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at approximately 8:09 a.m. on the 15800 block of Gale Avenue in Hacienda Heights.

Detectives have learned that Industry Station deputies responded to the rear parking lot of a shopping center after receiving a call of a “person not breathing.”  When deputies arrived, they found the victim seated in the driver seat of a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

The victim, a male Hispanic adult, was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no suspect(s) description at this time.

It is unknown if the incident is gang related.

The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.
