The van was subsequently recovered a few days later in Pacheco, CA but all of the tools inside the van were missing. WCPD was able to obtain video surveillance from the victim during the time of the vehicle theft. A WCPD Detective posted the surveillance video on social media (Facebook and YouTube- https://youtu.be/2LZmuezdxhw and https://youtu.be/IyuGhGIu8og) to generate leads.

On 11/30/16, another Ford Econoline van was stolen from Baldwin Lane in Walnut Creek. The van was later recovered in Martinez, CA but all of the tools inside the van were missing. With the assistance of the Martinez Police Department, Concord Police Department, and an anonymous citizen, the three listed suspects were identified as being the subjects in the video surveillance on 11/13/16.

Arrest warrants were issued and all three subjects were arrested. A search warrant at a residence on Robinson Street in Martinez, CA was conducted and numerous tools and electronic items were seized which were from three Ford Econoline vans which had been stolen. During the service of the search warrant, an unregistered handgun, ammunition and suspected narcotics were also located.

The Walnut Creek Police Department (WCPD) seized numerous other hand tools, power tools, and electronic items. Some of the items had markings of “ATT Norcal Crew”, “BOYT”, “JATO”, and “4158 SEMP” on them. There was also a flight bag with flight instruction books and a headset located.
