Wednesday afternoon, a deer hunter contacted the Kingfisher County Sheriff's Office about skeletal remains found in a wooded area near Waterloo north of Piedmont Road. The sheriff's office called OSBI special agents to help process the scene and investigate the suspicious death. The remains were collected and sent to the medical examiner's office where doctors will try to identify the body and determine cause and manner of death. It appears the remains have been in the area for several months.
