Dewey Co. Homicide Suspects Pleads Guilty
January 6, 2016, Cassandra Baldwin was found dead from a gunshot wound to her neck inside her Taloga home. Her estranged husband Lanne Baldwin was found inside the home with a wound to his face. The Dewey County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI special agents investigate the case. The medical examiner’s office ruled Cassandra’s death was a homicide. Days later, Lanne was arrested on a warrant for first degree murder. Today, Lanne Baldwin pleaded guilty to first degree murder in a Dewey County courtroom.
