TRAFFIC ADVISORY:  The First Precinct is advising motorists of road closures and expected traffic congestion throughout the Township of Babylon as multiple towns will be holding Holiday Events this weekend.
Please take this information into consideration when planning your travel route.
 
Babylon Village:  Friday, Dec. 2^nd  - 5 pm to 10pm: Deer Park Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from Main Street
 to Railroad Avenue for the Annual Old Fashioned Night of Shopping.
North Babylon:  Friday, Dec. 2^nd  - 6 pm to 9 pm:  North Babylon Volunteer Fire Company will be holding their Annual Holiday Parade. 
 The parade will begin at Deer Park Ave. and Hale Rd. proceeding north on Deer Park Ave. to Rt. 231 northbound over
 Southern State Parkway, continuing northbound on Deer Park Ave. to Commack Rd. ending at Commack Rd. & Deer Park Ave.
Copiague: Friday, Dec. 2^nd  @ 6 pm- 8pm:  The Copiague Chamber of Commerce and The Copiague Fire Department will be holding their Annual Tree Lighting at Great Neck Rd. & Oak St.
Town of Babylon Annual Tree Lighting, Friday, Dec. 2^nd @ 7 pm, 200 E. Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst. There will be musical entertainment and refreshments.
