The Newton Police Department is pleased to announce that an arrest has been made in the Gulf Gas Station Armed Robbery, which occurred on November 15, 2016.

Matthew A. Skinner a 33-year-old male, from Newton, came to the Newton Police Department Headquarters this afternoon and turned himself in. He was arrested on a warrant (Armed Robbery-While Masked), which had been issued by the Newton District Court.

We wish to thank our detectives for diligently pursing all leads and facets in this case and the media for assisting us with getting the information out to the public.
