Modesto, CA - On 11-22-16 at approximately 9:16 a.m., deputies and Modesto Police Officers were dispatched to a double stabbing at the Country Western Mobile Home Park located at 4449 S. Carpenter Road in Modesto, CA
When deputies and officers arrived they found two victims with stab wounds, a 54 year old woman and 56 year old man. Both were transported to the emergency room and are expected to survive.
Turlock PD detectives responded to the scene to work the investigation due to the funeral for Deputy Wallace. They developed suspect information as a result of their investigation.
This morning at approximately 6:00 a.m. deputies responded to a 911 call at the mobile home park regarding one of the suspects who had possibly returned to a trailer. When deputies arrived they found the suspect, 53 year-old Phillip Turley and he was taken into custody. Detectives are currently on scene and conducting follow-up investigation on a second suspect.
Turley will be booked at the county jail for attempted murder. The booking photo for Turley was not available at the time of this press release.
