Work begins on November 18 on the Sunsent Lake Footbridge, and will run through March 2017.
Demolition begins on November 28, and is likely to result in loud noises in the area as test and permanent piles are driven.
Below is an estimated timeline for the bridge project.
Site cleanup and prep: November 18 to November 25
Bridge demolition and driving test and permanent piles: November 28 to December 30
Installing new bulkheads: January 2 to January 20
Bridge deck construction, installation of rails and lights: January 2 to February 17
Site work, concrete, and restoration: February 13 to March 10
Final landscaping: March 6 to March 31
demobilization and end of construction: March 31
