Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter reports a Chaffee man arrested on drug charges.

Freddie Wicker (36) has been charged with the Class C Felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Class A Misdemeanor of Possession of up 35 grams of Marijuana, and the Class A Misdemeanor of Unlawful Use of Drug Paraphernalia.

Sheriff Walter states that on Monday, November 7, 2016 deputies served a search warrant at Wicker’s residence outside of Chaffee. Deputies located a white powdery substance (methamphetamine) and numerous drug paraphernalia items used to ingest methamphetamine and marijuana.

Wicker arrived at the residence while deputies were there. Upon searching Wicker’s vehicle, deputies located a green, leafy substance (marijuana) and more drug paraphernalia.

The white crystal substance tested positive for methamphetamine, and the green, leafy substance tested positive for marijuana.

Wicker was arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail. Wicker remains in custody at the Scott County Jail. Bond was set by the court at $25,000 cash or surety.
