Eric Vargas, 23, of Los Angeles arrested for lewd acts with a 12-year-old he met on Kik. Police looking for additional victims. 
Detectives continue to investigate 23-year-old Eric Vargas of Los Angeles, for lewd acts with a minor under 14 years old. The initial investigation revealed that Vargas befriended the 12-year-old girl on the social media dating site “Kik.” He then met with the victim on several occasions.
On November 5th, at approximately 4:40am, police were called to the young girl’s home by her parents, who found Vargas in their daughter’s bedroom. Vargas jumped out of the window and fled on foot. A search was conducted for Vargas, who was located a short distance from the house. He was arrested without incident.
Vargas was booked into West Valley Detention Center for lewd acts with a minor under 14 and several other related charges. He is being held on a one million dollar bail.
During the investigation, detectives have possibly identified a second juvenile victim and believe there may be others. Anyone who thinks they may have been a victim of Eric Vargas is asked to contact Detective Josh Burks at (909) 395-2912.
