Full Notification

Since last night, we've received numerous calls reporting a deer roaming around the south end. It was last seen in the area of 40th Street and the Sports Complex. The deer (possibly a buck) is very skittish and will run if it sees a person. Please do not approach it or attempt to coral it. NJ Fish and Game have been notified and advised us to leave it be and it will work it's way back off the island. If you see it, contact the NON EMERGENCY dispatch number to notify us. Again, please do not approach or attemp to stop the deer.
