Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man that occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m., on the 11300 block of Washington Boulevard, in the unincorporated area of Whittier.
 
Detectives have learned that the Victim, a man of Hispanic descent, was shot while seated on the curb in the parking lot of the location. 
 
The suspect drove into the parking lot, passed the victim, then turned around and illuminated the victim with the vehicle’s headlights. He exited the vehicle's driver’s side and immediately shot the victim multiple times in the upper torso.  The Suspect re-entered the vehicle and drove north-west through the parking lot and out of view.
 
Witnesses described the Suspect as a Hispanic man, between 18 and 25 years old, shaved head, thin build, wearing a white t-shirt. The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored mid-size sedan, possibly an import.
 
The Victim was transported by paramedics to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time.

NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are responding to the 11000 block of Washington Boulevard, Pico Rivera, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

There is no further information at this time.
