A traffic stop leads to the arrest of a San Dimas man for possession of drugs

LOCATION: Needles Hwy / Old Route 66, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): John Arnold, 23yrs, San Dimas, CA

SUMMARY: On Tuesday November 1, 2016 at approximately 1:12pm, Sergeant Bill Busto and Captain Ross Tarangle conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the area of Needles Hwy and Old Route 66 in Needles. During the traffic stop it was learned the driver, John Arnold, was possibly in possession of illegal drugs. A search of the driver and vehicle located drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine. Arnold was arrested without incident and transported to the Needles Jail where he was booked for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
