Inmate Found Unresponsive in Jail Cell

Warren County-Yesterday, October 31, 2016 at approximately 11:55 p.m. an inmate at the Warren County Jail in Williamsport was found unresponsive in his cell.
Preliminary investigation by Trooper Detective Brock Russell has revealed that Dennis J. Hoard, 46 of Attica was found unresponsive in his jail cell by correctional officers. First aid was immediately administered to Hoard and an ambulance was summoned. Upon arrival at St. Vincent Hospital in Williamsport, he was pronounced deceased. Hoard was alone in his jail cell and no foul play is expected at this time. An autopsy will take place in Lafayette tomorrow to determine the possible cause of the death. Family has been notified.
Assisting at the scene was the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, Williamsport Police Department, Attica Police Department, Warren County EMS, Sergeant Brian Olehy of the ISP Crime Scene Investigations, Warren County Coroner Bryan Lanham and Trooper Kevin Jeffries.
