NIPSO is working on a gas line project in Lowell. Because of the current wind direction, the result of this “planned natural gas release” has brought the odor of gas to our area. Emergency responders throughout the area have been responding to multiple complaints regarding the odor. The work in Lowell is complete and the odor should dissipate in the next few hours.
