The Farmington Hills Police is investigating a Home Invasion/Assault that occurred in the Village Green Apts around midnight 10/29/16 
The Farmington Hills Police Department is investigating a delayed report of a HOME INVASION and ASSAULT that occurred at the Village Green Apartments in the area of 14 Mile Road and Haggerty. The victim a 60-year-old female was walking her dog at approximately 12:00 am when she was approached by the suspect who forced her back inside her residence. The victim was assaulted and cash was stolen from the apartment.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’5” to 5’7” inches in height with a medium build and complexion, wearing blue jean pants and possibly gloves. The suspect was also described as having a strong odor of cigarettes.
The incident is currently under investigation and further information will be provided as the investigation evolves. There will be a heightened presence of police in the area as the investigation continues.
