Update to closure: Portland St closure extended to Railroad St due to fire hoses across roadway.
The St. Johnsbury Police Department wishes to advise that Elm Street and Portland Street (between Concord Avenue and Railroad Street) are closed until further notice.
The St. Johnsbury Fire Department and several other fire and EMS agencies are on scene of a structure fire on Elm Street.
Please avoid the area, respect the road closures, and allow emergency crews to do their job.
