**UPDATE** Simi Valley Police locate and arrest suspect 
Earlier today, Simi Valley Police Detectives released updated photographs of the suspect that attempted to force a thirteen year old female to leave with him after departing a city bus they were both riding.
Shortly after, Detectives received information from a citizen leading to the identity of the suspect. The victim in this case identified that person as the suspect that assaulted her. This person is identified as Elmer Montenegro (44).
A short while later after conducting surveillance on Montenegro's home, he was taken into custody. Montenegro was booked into Ventura County jail for violation of 207 PC - Kidnapping, 288a PC - Lewd Act Upon a Child, and 236 PC - False Imprisonment.
This case was resolved based on great teamwork between the community and the police department. By working together we took a dangerous individual off the streets.
