On October 22, 2016 at about 7:30 pm, Night Team Two Patrol Officer’s Spencer and Miller approached a suspicious vehicle, occupied by three people, parked in the 2400 block of Beaufort Drive. As they spoke to the occupants, officers could smell marijuana inside the vehicle and could see several mason jars containing marijuana inside the car. As officers had the driver exit the car, he tried to pull away from the officers and escape. After a short struggle, 23 year old Kenny Reed from Suisun City was taken into custody.
Inside the car officers located evidence of possession of marijuana for sale and a loaded 9mm handgun hidden under the driver’s seat. The two passengers, 23 year old Jordan Scott of Vallejo and 22 year old Latrail White of Fairfield, were arrested without incident. All three occupants were booked for possession of marijuana for sale and possession of a loaded concealed firearm. Additionally, Kenny Reed was booked for resisting arrest and Jordon Scott for violating the terms of his probation.
