**UPDATE** #LASD Shooting Death Investigation, 15800 block of South Frailey Ave, Compton
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the shooting death that occurred on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at 10:41 pm. The victim, a 47- year old male Black, was standing in front of an apartment complex in the 15800 block of Frailey Avenue in Compton, when the suspect walked up and started shooting at him. After the shooting the suspect fled on foot on Frailey Avenue and out of view.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The suspect was described as a male Black wearing a dark colored hoodie type sweat shirt.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
