Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter reports that one suspect is in custody for four burglaries in Scott County with possible ties to numerous other burglaries in various jurisdictions. Sheriff Walter made contact with four local victims in Scott County this afternoon and has been able to obtain some of the stolen merchandise.

Scott County Sheriff’s Office has been working together with Sikeston DPS, Mississippi County Sheriff's Office, Charleston PD and New Madrid County and Sheriff Walter is hopeful that this arrest will clear up a string of other burglaries.
