Paving Thursday and Friday on West near Chestnut. Expect Delays. 
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
The City of Oneonta will be paving the utility trenches at the intersection of Chestnut St and West St, beginning Thursday, October 20th. Work will occur between 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., and is expected to be completed by October 21st, weather permitting.
Although two-way traffic will be maintained, there will be occasional traffic delays. In addition, West St will be closed to through traffic from Chestnut St to Center St during work hours and traffic will be detoured via Church St. No parking will be allowed along Church St from Chestnut St to Huntington Park to allow bus and truck traffic to safely negotiate the turn.
University staff, students and employees are encouraged to avoid Chestnut St while travelling to and from campus, if at all possible.
For the duration of the project, during all hours of bus operation, the OPT bus stops at High & West and Chestnut & Church will be moved to Church St near the entrance to Huntington Park.
