<p>10/14 - 12:40 a.m. - Police responded for a domestic disturbance on East Laurel Street. One of the parties involved had just left the scene in a vehicle. The officer stopped the vehicle and conducted an investigation. The altercation was between a male and female who reside together. Both parties accused the other of assault or battery. However, one of the parties later recanted their statement, and there was no evidence of injury. No arrests were made, and one of the individuals left to stay with a family member.</p>
