Subject: Media access for funeral service

Location: Palm Springs Convention Center & the Coachella Valley Cemetery

Details:

As previously mentioned the Palm Springs Police Department will be providing a live video access feed from inside the venue via a press box connection along with a 24 channel audio press feed. A digital SDI with embedded audio 1080i feed will also be available. Media outlets will need to provide self-regulating cabling for connection. Media parking at the Palm Springs convention center will be located at the corner of East Andreas Road and North Calle Alvarado with access to this location from North Calle El Segundo and Andreas Road. The media room will be located in room Mesquite A.

Gravesite honors for Officer Jose “Gil” Vega will take place immediately following the memorial service and will be held at the Coachella Valley Cemetery, located at 82-925 Avenue 52, in Coachella. Media parking will be available on the corner of Jackson Street and Avenue 52 where Riverside County Sheriff’s Media Information Bureau staff with be present for further assistance. We want to make this service special for the family, law enforcement Department members, friends, and the public. Your cooperation with the above instructions are greatly appreciated and will ensure a dignified and memorable service for all.
