OSBI Special Agents Arrest Former Perry Officer for Lewd Acts with a Child 
Thursday evening, OSBI agents arrested Matthew Lance Vassar (d.o.b. 10/13/1971), a former Perry police officer, for lewd acts with a child. The Ponca City Police Department requested OSBI investigate an allegation of the crime on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Vassar was arrested last night at a relative's home in Ponca City. Other law enforcement agencies assisting OSBI with the arrest were the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Ponca Tribal Police, and the Kay County Sheriff's Office. Vassar was a police officer at the time of the allegations. Bond was set st $750,000.
