Public’s Assistance Requested

Dearborn, Mi. — The Dearborn Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance regarding two on-going armed robbery investigations.

On April 12, 2015 at approximately 2:00am, a white male entered a diner in the area of Southfield and Outer Drive armed with a handgun. The suspect demanded cash from the register and once he took the money he fled the area.  The suspect was wearing unique clothing and he was described as between 5’10” and 6’ tall, wearing a black Carhart skull cap, a black cloth covering his face, a navy blue hoodie with the letters “American Original” on the back along with an image of an American Flag and Mickey Mouse.

On June 25, 2016, a black male suspect, armed with a handgun, entered a pharmacy on Cherry Hill near Outer Drive and demanded money.  The employee could not produce any cash, but the suspect stole numerous narcotics that were stored near the counter.  The suspect was described as a black male, 20-30 years old, with side burns and possibly a beard.  The suspect also had a sleeve tattoo covering his right arm from his bicep to his wrist.

Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad stated, “Crimes of this nature will be investigated until the perpetrators are arrested and brought to justice.  We are urging the public to come forward with information that will assist us in identifying the suspects in these cases.”

The public is reminded that you can remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK UP.
